Behind each pantry you find a child, a neighbor, a friend. Listed below are several local food pantries. Visiting one of these, with a small food donation, once a month, is helping a neighbor in need. Throughout the year, KP Neighbors will be sponsoring various food drives. January 2008 KP Neighbors donates to one of Kings Park School Districts's own. The KP School District comes to the aid of a beloved teacher in the district after a destructive house fire. ![]() (Click on photo to enlarge and read caption) Kings Park Day ![]() (Click on photo to enlarge and read caption) During our April 10th meeting we accepted donations for THE SUFFOLK COUNTY COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, an organization dedicated to providing safety and support to family violence victims. This organization provides a wide range of services including a 24 hour Hotline (631 666-8833), Safe Harbor Shelter and vocational and legal advocacy. KPNA would like to thank our members for their endless generosity. All items collected were brought to the Coalition and will undoubtedly help out in some small way. |
